Tom says that we’re definitely in a buyer’s market right now. Our local Multiple Listing Service (MLS) has more than 3100 listings in Bonner and Boundary counties (the northern part of the Idaho panhandle). These, of course, range from the less expensive to multi-million dollar places, from bare land to fancy houses. But the places that seem to be getting the most interest are the lower priced properties. There is also interest in condos and some upper range homes, especially on the water.
There are a lot of choices at good prices right now. One of our bargains is a 5-acre piece of land just south of Sandpoint. It has big trees, beautiful views, and power and phone at the property line – all for $79,500. If you’re interested, we’ll be happy to look for any property that will fit your needs.
